“ We went to Efteling with the kids for a few days. We wanted to have lunch somewhere different for an afternoon. And what a lucky find! We had a wonderful lunch with our girls in the "beautiful photo" restaurant (as our youngest daughter called it). Our teenager thought it was more "Instagram-worthy." We, as "old" (45) in their eyes, simply loved it. We treated ourselves to a delicious treat. We had a delicious cocktail, and the girls each got one too (non-alcoholic, of course). That was a treat! It looked truly amazing. We also had an excellent meal; the presentation alone was worth it. Despite the crowds on the terrace, we received quick and very friendly service. Everything was perfect, and it made it a welcome change from the Efteling restaurants. We went back the next day to finish our day there, and once again, we had a delicious meal! Highly recommended!! ”

His cooking and hospitality were top-notch. Now I drive from Breda to Kaatsheuvel. XO: The new concept has such a great atmosphere. Not just for celebrating something. But also for drinks, lunch, dinner—anything is possible! There's no reason not to go to XO. We'll keep coming back! Great place. ”

“ Our first visit to this restaurant had fairly high expectations, given our friends' experience with the chef, who previously owned a restaurant in Oosterhout. It has a charming interior where you're greeted warmly upon entering. We were given a table with a view into the kitchen, which is always nice. We started with a house aperitif, then the three of us opted for oysters (of which there are several options, and we chose the tastiest), followed by fairly standard salads (goat cheese, burrata, and carpaccio) and a steak tartare. The gentlemen opted for the chateaubriand, and we opted for the halibut and black cod, accompanied by a bottle or two of Spanish white wine. We finished with pavlova, coffee crème, Disco Fever XO, a triplex ordinary, and coffees. We had a pleasant evening and enjoyed a good meal, but we expected more. ”
